Pet Warehouse Assistant Manager
Job Descriptions:
A. Purpose:
The primary focus of a Pet Warehouse Assistant Manager is to provide excellent customer service. The other main duties include animal care and general store operations.
B. Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Opening and closing store
- Cash handling
- Daily deposits and change orders
- Managing and motivating cashiers and directing store associates
- Handling customer complaints
- Responsible for the care of the pets and fish
- Weekends and nights required
- Must have open schedule
- Must have own transportation
C. Education:
High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
D. Work Experience:
Retail experience in a professional environment. Prior management experience preferred.
E. Physical Requirements:
Bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and lifting above head. Standing for long periods of time. This position requires lifting of up to 50lbs. Pet Warehouse requires the use of a back belt when lifting 20lbs or more.
