Cats Claws Description

Cats Claws is a company dedicated to improving the lives of cats and their owners everywhere. Kathy and Chris Lehman showed Persian cats at cat shows. At these competitions, they set up vendor tables selling T-Shirts and Sweatshirts. Soon Kathy and Chris started developing toys for their cats. These first toys were called "Teasers", and were essentially feathers or Mylar taped onto a flexible wand. These toys were not the first ones introduced at these Cat Shows, but they were unique because they were so safe. Soon, Kathy and Chris were devising new toys, like the Feline Flyer . These toys became very popular with the Judges, who could easily get the cats' attention during judging. Cats Claws was starting to take off. Soon, there were not enough toys for the demand. Cats Claws was also starting to sell their toys to local pet shops, and the lack of employees was starting to take its toll. The neighborhood started helping Kathy and Chris in their endeavors, but even those many part time hands were not enough for the exploding demand.

In 1993, Cats Claws opened a manufacturing plant designed to make large numbers of Cat Toys. Since 1993, many employees have called Cats Claws home, and we currently employ 20 employees. All of our employees care about the animals they are making toys for, and we care for our employees. Some of our original employees are still with us. The company has yearly employee picnics, Christmas parties, and monthly lunches. We also celebrate employee birthdays, have weekly trivia contests, and the company also offers full medical and dental policies. Our employees have a good atmosphere to work in, and we believe that this is shown in our toys. Cats Claws now manufactures 40 different Items. We keep striving to improve the quality of our toys while developing new ones. Our toys are sold worldwide, and are a staple in the pet industry. Cats Claws toys are often shown on television, whenever a high quality cat toy is needed. Others have tried to duplicate our product, but none could achieve the quality we consistently produce.
