Mega Marbles is the American extension of a marble tradition that began in Mexico City more than 70 years ago. Vacor de Mexico began as a small manufacturer of clay marbles in 1930. The local demand for marbles increased substantially with the company's creation of Cat's Eye marbles in 1944, and Vacor slowly began to attract global attention.

By the mid 1960's, Vacor had recognized the popularity of marbles in Europe and immediately began to target several key markets in that region. During the next few decades, Vacor began to establish dozens of distributors around the world. In the early 1990's, Mega Marbles was established in Wichita, Kansas, to be the U.S. distributor of Vacor de Mexico marbles.

Today, mega Marbles distributes more than 1,200 styles of toy marbles and games, decorative gems and shapes, craft/scrapbooking products and other novelty gift items.

Together, Mega Marbles and Vacor have worked relentlessly to establish a reputation for the highest quality marbles in the industry, unsurpassed customer service and the largest selection of mables in the world.
